left right in sections 1

Tiger, tiger, burning bright
In the forests of the night,
What immortal hand or eye
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?

(William Blake)

Recollect that with sections, we are looking at thin slices through some material. Until we exercise some care, we do not know if we are looking at the section from the front or the rear.

The next page is also of a stained glass window, and we simply need to know if the baby is in the right or left arm.
