We are still developing the capacity to add video to micro*scope.

The video format is currently restricted to MPG.

The files have to be submitted to micro*scope management ( microscope@mbl.edu) for addition as no tools are available as yet to assist the process.

We recommend:

• video lasting 15 seconds - genus_species_xxv.mpg
• still shot, to fit inside a 500 X 500 pixel box, 72 dpi jpg to act as the collection image genus_species_xxvw.mpg
• still shot, to fit inside a 100 X 100 pixel box, 72 dpi jpg to act as the collection image genus_species_xxvt.mpg
• option of a longer video in a zip file for special downlaod genus_species_xxvz.zip

where xx is the identifier for the collection of images.
