Nitzschia species with large cells. The inserts show overlaping of epi- and hypotheca, the girdle band and keel arcs of the fibulate raphe system and a Chlamydomonas like green flagellate. Scale bar indicates 100µm. multi layer image using 35 frames generating depth of focus, stacked manually using Corel Photopaint.
