Difflugia bacillifera
Multi-layer image of a Difflugia bacillifera testate amoeba. The test of the D. bacillifera is made up of siliceous plates and diatom frustules. From body of water adjacent to an inflowing creek at Hawley Bog in Hawley, Massachusetts in fall 2010. Scale bar indicates 30 µm.
