SEM
Amphidiniopsis (am-fee-din-ee-op-sis) galericulata Hoppenrath 2000. The SEM image shows a cell in left lateral view. The cingulum is near the anterior end of the cell. An apical hook points dorsal. A ventral sulcal spine near the posterior end, antapical (= posterior) spines and thecal surface ornamentation are visible. This is from a collection of images of dinoflagellates of marine sediments.
