Marine euglenids - NW Australia

The micro-algae and protists of north western Australia have not been studied to any great extent. The marine euglenids included here were found in samples taken from sandy and muddy sediments at Roebuck Bay, Cable Beach, Town Beach and adjacent sites near Broome. This survey was carried out by Angelika Preisfeld and David Patterson in 2003. This survey was supported by the Australian Biological Resources Study.
