Orchids and other flowering plants in subalpine regions of southern Germany

The subalpine region of Bavaria with its grasslands based on limestone gives a good substratum for orchids and some other rare flowering plants.

The collection was augmented in 2011 by some images from Majorca (Mediterranean Sea). Image copyright: Wolfgang Bettighofer, image used under license to MBL (micro*scope).
