Marine microbes - NW Australia

The micro-algae and protists of north western Australia have not been studied to any great extent. The organisms included here were found in samples from Roebuck Bay and beaches near Broome in NW Australia. This survey was carried out by Shauna Murray, Mona Hoppenrath, Jacob Larsen, Angelika Preisfeld and David Patterson in 2003. This survey was supported by the Australian Biological Resources Study.
