|Description of Salpingoeca sphaericola: Lorica hyaline, oval or roundish, 12 microns long and 10 microns wide, with crude handles of the length of the lorica. Cells oval, which fastens in the middle of the lorica taking, with a short stalk. Nucleus in the front, two contractile vacuolen in the posterior end. Collar long and narrow. |
