Mammoth Hot Springs to Beaver Lake Area in Yellowstone National Park

The region includes a number of habitats which are not very hot - such as Beaver Lake, Obsidian Creek and Swan Lake. These sites are home to a wide diversity of microbes, many of which would be found in similar habitats world-wide. Map produced by the Spatial Analysis Center, Yellowstone National Park.
