The images in the micro*scope web site have been collected by researchers and enthusiasts. The pictures reflect the interest of those workers, their expertise, their purpose, or where they live. We have grouped those materials around a variety of themes. You can use this structure to browse for images of organisms from (for example) particular kinds of habitats, particular locations, or from historical documents.
