LinkIT 
LinkIT is a tool from the uBio project that reads electronic documents
and then creates links to one or more remote sources of information from names in the source page.
The links only appear if there is complementary data at the remote location.
The tool is a proof-of-concept prototype
that will be extended to work with databases and various document formats.
