micro*scope is a star*site. These sites have been developed to offer considerable flexibility in what you can see and how you see it. To take advantage of these functions, you need to register and then enter the 'my microscope' environment. Depending on what status you have, you will be able to chose which collections of content the web site will show off, and you will also be able to exercise control over the arrays of linkouts to the sites that you can see. To control the collections, use the collection selection link, and then use the click boxes associated with hierarchical array of collections to select those that you would like to see in the site. Each time you visit the site, you will need to log in in order for the selection to be enforced.
