micro*scope was originally developed to promote aware of microbial biodiversity. Almong its other roles, it can act as a resource that can be called upon or linked to educational exercises. We are keen to hear from teachers and students as to ways that we can improve micro*scope or to help you take advantage of the rich resources within it.

Microbial Life
Microbial Life is a sister site. It has been funded by the National Science Digital Library, and emphasizes on-line resources that can be used in educating students (favoring the K-12 group) about microbial ecology, diversity and evolution. Microbial Life also has an array of educational modules that comply with US science curriculum standards.

Micro*lite
Micro*lite is a domain within the micro*scope environment that is available for teachers and students to build content, explore and use the tools within the micro*scope web site. Access to micro*lite is by password. You will need to register, and then enter my*microscope and add micro*lite using the collection selection tool.
